Why should my community use Jackpot?

Jackpot adds an incentive layer that rewards your members for performing tasks which help your community.

In general, Jackpot helps to:

• Increase visibility & reach on Twitter

• Foster more fruitful and engaging conversations in Discord

• Increase community participation in events or spaces

• Kickstart community-led content creation

• Give the community targets to work towards.

How do I start earning 🎟's?

Anyone can start earning tickets by visiting a Discord Server that uses Jackpot and opting in via the #get-started channel. You can earn tickets from multiple servers at once.

Please note that during Alpha, Jackpot will be the only community using Jackpot so our server will temporarily be the only place to begin earning tickets.

How easy is it to add Jackpot into my Discord Server?

It is incredibly easy to add Jackpot into your Discord Server. After completing payment, you'll be asked to select the server where you'd like to add the Jackpot Bot. Once you confirm your selection, the Jackpot channels will immediately populate in your Server and your community members will be free to start earning 🎟's.

How do you prevent bots from earning 🎟's?

Many of our Discord metrics have diminishing returns, which makes it hard to earn 🎟's by spamming the chat. We also weight responses and reactions to your messages more heavily than sending the message in the first place, which incentivizes higher quality content that is worthy of getting a response.

How do you pick winners of the Giveaway?

The Giveaway is an on-chain sweepstake which uses Chainlink VRF to randomly select a few winners who each receive a portion of our revenue in $USDC. Your odds of winning the Giveaway depend on the amount of 🎟's you’ve earned relative to others participating in the sweepstakes. If you have the most 🎟's, it does not guarantee you’ll win the Giveaway; it simply means that you will have the greatest chance of winning. Winnings from the Giveaway are transferred automatically to your ETH wallet.

How often does the Giveaway happen?

Giveaways happen every 2 weeks. The prize pool, number of winners, and a live countdown will always be visible on the Leaderboard.

How does your pricing model work?

Our pricing model is based on the number of community members who opt into Jackpot within your server. Community members can claim a seat in the #get-started channel by connecting their Twitter and optionally specifying a wallet address if they'd like to be considered for the giveaway.

What happens if I use all of the seats included in my subscription?

As your community approaches the maximum number of seats included in your subscription, you will be notified to upgrade your plan. Once you reach the maximum number of seats, new community members will not be able to opt-in within your Server.

Community members who already opted-in will still be able to earn 🎟's.

Who is the team behind Jackpot?

Jackpot was co-founded by Andrew (@cryptobreaky), Jack (@Landao_Cal) and Kyle (@crypto_cowboy3).

Andrew studied Psychology at Duke and is a 3x founder specializing in marketing and advertising.

Jack studied Public Policy at Duke, where he was roommates with Andrew. Jack and Andrew won the 2021 Duke Blockchain Hackathon together and later started a collegiate venture DAO.

Kyle is a lifelong entrepreneur and a repeat co-founder with Andrew. Kyle brings additional experience in enterprise ad sales.
